We're starting a student troupe, and it's going to be a ton of fun!
It's a hybrid troupe- in-person training is optional. You also don't even have to perform to enjoy benefits of being in a troupe.
What do we do?
Our repertoire includes a full show's worth of bellydance choreography set to beloved and well-known bellydance music with beautiful costuming (that won't break the bank). We'll refine our dances until they are performance-ready.
Do I have to perform?
You can still get the benefit of participating even if performing isn't your cup of tea. Also, you can participate even if you can't make it to North Carolina in person, all performances will include an online component.
We will have quarterly performance opportunities.
Should you join?
Anyone, at any level of bellydance, can learn the dances and join the troupe. Dancing in a troupe is a fantastic journey to elevate your dance skills. By being part of this troupe, you'll master choreography, enhance spatial awareness, and boost your showmanship. Plus, you'll build a supportive network of fellow bellydance enthusiasts.
How will it work?
For those who can attend in-person classes, all of my classes at Chapel Hill Bellydance will feature a section covering troupe choreography. Additionally, I will teach the choreography live on zoom weekly on Wednesdays at 6:30pm EST. We will periodically have rehearsals before performances, schedule tbd. If you can't make it in-person or live on zoom, choreography tutorials will be freely available on Youtube.

Subscriptions will be paused anytime classes are not running at the studio.
(Subscribers to in-person classes at Chapel Hill Bellydance can participate in the troupe free of charge!)
